iRecruitment was founded in 2020 after one too many bad experiences with agencies that don't pick up the phone. We're three people in Crewe with fifty years between us — making careers happen, properly.
Our story
Founded on follow-through.
In 2020 Damian Gilecki started iRecruitment after a couple of decades watching the industry slide into the “CV-spray” model — twenty candidates fired at every job spec, KPIs chasing volume not quality, and silence after placement.
We do it differently because there isn't a clever alternative — we pick up the phone, we screen properly, we follow up after the placement, and we'd rather send three candidates who fit than twenty who tick keyword boxes.
Between Damian, Tom and Trevor there's over fifty years of recruitment experience across engineering, driving, warehouse, commercial, finance, tech, healthcare and administration — most of it earned in the North West.
We're still small enough that you'll speak to the same consultant every time. That's the bit we're protective of.
